Brighter Days (2011) is a short animated film directed by Daniel McGarrigle chronicling the life of his grandfather Colm Melly (born 1923). Narrated by Colm Melly, the film is part of the “Sharing Stories” project, a collaboration between the Regional Cultural Centre in Donegal and the Nerve Centre in Derry, Northern Ireland.
